What is Scene and Heard?

Scene and Heard was created as a platform for students to share their thoughts and feelings about the shows they’ve seen. It’s not just a space for writing reviews—it also gives performers the chance to receive meaningful feedback, including constructive criticism and compliments, from a wider audience.

All About Me

Hi! My name is Fiona, and I’m the creator and founder of Scene and Heard. I’ve been involved in the performing arts for over 13 years, and it has had a profound impact on my life. Costumes, sets, monologues, dance, make-up, and a lot of hairspray all come together to make an interactive a memorable experience for the performers and audience. Musical theatre has not only helped me build confidence, but it has also introduced me to an incredible community of people who share the same passion.

I created Scene and Heard because I noticed there weren’t many opportunities for high school performers to share and receive feedback outside their immediate circles. My goal is to give students a platform where they can express their thoughts, celebrate each other's work, and grow through kind and constructive feedback. I truly believe that when young artists support one another, it makes the entire theatre community stronger.
